‘willie week’ series, part 6: the finale – performance by ensemble ériu

Today we have a special treat for you. In this final audio excerpt from the “Miltown Malbay” stop in our hands-free app for motorists, Ensemble Ériu performs a melody called “April’s Fool,” composed by Chicago accordion player Jimmy Keane. This award-winning contemporary Irish traditional septet is led by Neil O Loghlen and Jack Talty, a musician and composer who teaches at the week-long Willie Clancy Summer School, which comes to a close today in County Clare.

The app is narrated by award-winning actor Iarlaith O’Conaire and actress Geraldine Hughes, with audio production by Audissey Media.

Enjoy!

PS. Don’t forget to download our free audio tour app from the App Store or Google Play, and leave a review to be entered to win an exclusive cultural gift direct from Ireland!
